Omar Arouna
Biography
He currently serves as the Managing Partner of the US-Africa Cybersecurity Group, a cybersecurity management consulting firm, and as Chief Executive Officer of Global Specialty LLC, an international business development consultancy providing strategic advisory and operational support to organizations seeking market entry and the establishment of commercial operations across the African continent.
Ambassador Arouna also holds prominent leadership roles in the nonprofit and policy research sectors. He serves as President of the Advisory Board at the New York Center for Foreign Policy Affairs (NYCFPA), an American think tank focused on the comprehensive study and analysis of U.S. foreign policy and its global implications. Additionally, he is President of the Advisory Board for the Pan-African Institute of Municipal Development, a nonprofit organization founded in 2021 to bridge critical gaps in workforce development, capacity building, and leadership within municipal governments across Africa.
Ambassador Arouna is a Commander of the National Order of Benin, one of the highest honors bestowed by the Republic of Benin. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The George Washington University and is fluent in both French and English.
